Psychotropics started manufacturing soaps only in the year 1999 along with its existing range of tablets, capsules, liquid orals, ointments etc. The company identified this segment as a very niche market at that time & hence conceived a plan to set up a state of art soap manufacturing facility. This novel idea brought instant success to the company as all the leading dermatologists & physicians thrived on the idea of prescribing a medicated soap to a patient which was not very common. The company started manufacturing high class medicated soaps like anti acne, moisturizers etc. & later on completed the range by adding soaps like anti lice, anti scabies, anti fungal, anti dermatitis, antiseptic etc. Seeing the success of Psychotropics’ medicated soaps, many other India Pharma companies have also plunged into this market. However, Psychotropics being the originator of introducing medicated soaps in the country is far ahead than its competitors. Also, we are the largest manufactures of the medicated soaps in the country. The soaps we manufacture are absolutely skin friendly & are made out of best soap noodles of TFM over 78% & above. We import soap noodles directly from Malaysia, the leading country of manufacturing soap noodles. We don’t differentiate neither we make any compromise while making the soaps. We follow the same norms to manufacture soaps that we follow to manufacture other pharmaceutical preparations like tablets, capsules, liquid orals & ointments. We have 5 high speed automatic soap manufacturing lines supplemented by 7 automatic soap stamping machines & 10 automatic soap sealing machines. We manufacture soaps in various sizes like 40/50/75/100/125 gm. We have very novel & different dyes (like sea shell, heart shaped etc) for the soaps. We have the capacity of manufacturing 15 tons of soap everyday on a shift of 12 hours. We are exporting our medicated/cosmetic/herbal soaps to various countries on a very regular basis.
