from year 1987 onwards. The company manufactured only
tablets & capsules at the time of its incorporation.
Over the years, the company has diversified into various

We at Psychotropics use ultra modern machinery to manufacture
entire pharmaceuticals. We are very particular in choosing
the machinery & its vendors to manufacture our products.
We don’t install any machine in Psychotropics till
the time its complete documents like IQ, OQ & PQ are
studied carefully by the concerned production & QA
personnel. The machinery we use for production are all
GMP models with S.S. (stainless steel) body. Apart from
using top quality manufacturing equipments, we have excellent
HVAC system with Prefilters (of 5 Microns)
& Hepa Filters (of 5 microns again)
just before the supply. To maintain the humidity we have
installed dehumidifiers with the AHU (& non
portable dehumidifiers that are commonly used in Pharma
companies) so that the quality of the product
does not get affected in case of some special products.
We have ensured that we use good quality doors (GI
doors, powder coated with epoxy paint) in all
the production rooms with drop seal & excellent locking
system so that there is always negative/positive pressure
maintained (negative in the production area &
positive in its immediate gallery) & hence
there is no chance of cross contamination. We have a water
softener , a DM water plant & R.O. Water System installed
in the factory to ensure that the water we use to prepare our
formulations is absolutely free from any bacteria or microbial
growth. The distribution of water for production is carried through
loop system in SS piping. We use the machinery of the following
