in the year 1987 by its present
Managing Director and CEO Mr. Navdeep Chawla.
Having worked with both multi-national and Indian companies
in various capacities, he transformed his rich experience in
marketing of pharmaceuticals into a specialty based pharma
company in the year 1987, which is today a fine example of
very successful enterprise in a highly competitive
pharmaceutical business.
He started the company with a specialty group in the beginning i.e.
Psychiatry with a view to create a niche and establish distribution network all over the country Having successfully attained this goal, the company introduced more specialty products into its marketing range. The company in
a short span-of time and with a consistent growth has
expanded into a multi- divisional company for extensive and intensive coverage of doctors and territories and to market newer, innovative molecules and formulation which are developed in the new
State- of -the - Art manufacturing plant located at Haridwar, Uttarakhand which is about 190. Kms. from New Delhi. The company has developed Novel Drug Delivery system and has developed many new products and sustained release technology including double layered tableting
technique to enhance the efficacy of the drug and to offer
greater patient compliance particularly in the field of
Anti-Diabetics, Anti-epileptic Drugs, Anti-allergic, etc.
Mr. Chawla has earned great reputation as a progressive industrialist of repute and has established a 100 bedded multispecialty Hospital under the name of National Institute of Medical Sciences, at Faridabad, with a long term planning to convert this institute into Medical and Para Medical Educational Institute, which will be the first of its kind in any satellite town of NCR. Mr.Chawla is also associated with many Professional, Social & Cultural organizations. He has been joined by his very dynamic son Sidharth Chawla a management graduate from U.K. Who is currently a director in the company & is looking after the manufacturing, New Product Development and R&D.
